Performance
The Calpeda BNMD series includes bronze close coupled centrifugal pumps with two back to back impellers, designed for systems requiring high head at moderate flow. The bronze construction offers excellent corrosion resistance, making these pumps suitable for aggressive or salt laden environments such as marine and coastal installations, as well as heating and cooling systems with chemically treated water.

Applications
Suitable for clean liquids (with solids content up to 0.2%) that are non abrasive and non explosive, typically used in:

• Water supply and pressure boosting
• Heating and air conditioning circuits
• Cooling and process circulation
• Irrigation systems
• Marine and coastal water systems

Construction

• Double impeller configuration for higher pressure applications
• Bronze pump casing and lantern bracket (CC480K EN 1982)
• Threaded connections to ISO 228/1 (BS 2779)
• Impeller in bronze or brass (model dependent)
• Chrome nickel stainless steel shaft (AISI 316)
• Fully painted for enhanced corrosion protection
