The Lowara CA and CAM stainless steel centrifugal pumps are close-coupled, single-impeller units designed for reliable water transfer in domestic, commercial and light industrial duties. Available in AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless steel versions, they offer a compact footprint with smooth, quiet operation and dependable performance.
Performance
The CA and CAM ranges deliver efficient hydraulic performance for clean water and mildly aggressive liquids. They are suitable for continuous or intermittent duty where consistent flow and pressure are required.
- Flow rates up to 12.5 m³/h, depending on model
- Head up to 62 m, depending on model
- Maximum operating pressure: 8 bar (PN 8)
- Maximum ambient temperature: 45°C
- Hydraulic performance to ISO 9906:2012 Grade 3B
Applications
These stainless steel centrifugal pumps are suited to a wide range of clean liquid transfer duties in buildings, process systems and water treatment.
- General water supply and pressure boosting
- Irrigation and sprinkler systems
- Water circulation for hot, cold and refrigerated circuits
- Light industrial process duties with non-aggressive liquids
CA series (AISI 304 stainless steel) For chemically and mechanically non-aggressive water and liquids in domestic, commercial and light industrial systems.
CA..N series (AISI 316 stainless steel) For more demanding duties such as reverse osmosis (demineralised water), industrial washing, thermal water and chlorine dosing in swimming pools.
Construction
- Close-coupled, single-impeller centrifugal pump with axial suction and radial discharge
- Stainless steel construction in AISI 304, or AISI 316 for “N” versions
- Compact design with pump directly coupled to the motor
- Threaded suction and discharge ports to Rp EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1
- High-efficiency enclosed impeller in AISI 304 stainless steel (AISI 316 for “N” versions)
- Mechanical seal with ceramic and carbon rings, NBR elastomers (EPDM for “N” versions, FPM for “V” versions)
- O-rings in NBR (EPDM for “N” versions)
- Mounting dimensions in accordance with EN 12756 (ex DIN 24960) and ISO 3069
- Rotation counter-clockwise when viewed from the suction port
Motor construction
- Asynchronous, squirrel cage rotor motor with external ventilation
- Protection class: IP55
- Insulation class: 155 (F)
- Performance to EN 60034-1
- Standard power range approximately 0.75 kW to 3 kW, depending on model
- Single-phase: 220–240 V, 50 Hz
- Three-phase: 220–240 / 380–415 V, 50 Hz
