The Lowara CO and COM stainless steel open impeller centrifugal pumps are designed for reliable transfer of moderately aggressive liquids containing suspended solids. The AISI 316 construction, combined with an accessible open impeller, gives you efficient performance, easy cleaning and reduced risk of clogging in demanding industrial and commercial duties.

These pumps are a strong choice where hygiene, wash down or process reliability matter, such as food and beverage plants, packaging lines, wash systems and light industrial processes.

Construction

• Close coupled, single impeller centrifugal pump
• Threaded suction and discharge ports to Rp ISO 7
• Back pull out design for quick and simple maintenance
• AISI 316L stainless steel open impeller with four pressed vanes welded to a base disc
• No internal diffusers or cavities for easier cleaning and reduced risk of product build up
• Pump body tightened with eight screws, allowing rotation of the discharge head for flexible pipework connections

Mechanical seal options

• Standard version: carbon and ceramic seal faces with FPM elastomers
• "K" version: silicon carbide and tungsten carbide seal faces with FPM elastomers for enhanced durability in demanding duties

• Asynchronous squirrel cage motor enclosed in an aluminium casing
• External ventilation for effective cooling
