Performance
The DAB Feka VS Grinder is a high head submersible pump designed for lifting and transferring dirty water containing fibrous or clog prone material. Its integrated stainless steel grinder system shreds solids before discharge, making it ideal for narrow pipework, long discharge runs and systems where clogging is a risk.

Its compact design and shredding capability make it particularly suitable for permanent installations with narrow pipework or high discharge head requirements.
Construction
The pump body and base are manufactured from cast iron for durability. The motor casing, seal holder, handle and upper cover are made from stainless steel. The grinder mechanism is constructed from AISI 630 stainless steel for long service life. A double mechanical seal, housed in an oil chamber, provides protection against wear during continuous submerged duty.
Motor
The submersible asynchronous motor is cooled by the surrounding liquid and designed for continuous operation.
- Single phase versions include a capacitor and built in thermal protection, and are available with a float switch (MA version)
- Three phase versions include thermal protection leads for connection to an external panel
