Performance
The DAB Feka VS Grinder is a high head submersible sewage pump with an integrated shredding system, designed for wastewater applications where small diameter pipework, long discharge runs or higher pressure are required.
Unlike standard solids-handling sewage pumps, the Feka VS Grinder shreds waste before discharge. This makes it suitable for fixed or portable installations where clogging is a risk and where wastewater needs to be lifted or transferred through restricted pipework.

Construction
The pump body and base are manufactured from cast iron for durability. The seal holder cover, motor casing, cap and handle are made from stainless steel, while the shredding system is manufactured from AISI 630 stainless steel. The motor shaft is AISI 316 stainless steel.
A double mechanical seal with an intermediate oil chamber protects the pump during submerged operation. The pump-side seal is silicon carbide/silicon carbide, with a carbon/alumina seal on the motor side.
Motor
The Feka VS Grinder uses a watertight submersible asynchronous motor, cooled by the pumped liquid. The rotor is mounted on oversized, greased-for-life ball bearings for quiet operation and long service life.
