Performance
The DAB FK ATEX is a professional-grade submersible pump designed for wastewater transfer in industrial, commercial, and public applications. Built with robust materials and compliant with ATEX regulations, it handles varying solids content, including fibrous and abrasive particles, while ensuring reliability and ease of maintenance. Flow and head performance vary depending on impeller type and model configuration.

Construction
The FK ATEX pump is available with vortex or single-channel impellers to match application requirements. It features:

• Flanged discharge ports: DN 65, DN 80, DN 100, or DN 150 (EN 1092-1)
• Single-unit cartridge seal with dual mechanical seals  SiC/SiC (pump side), SiC/C (motor side)
• New non-clog impeller geometry for solids handling and minimal maintenance
• Seal configuration is independent of rotation direction
• Liquid viscosity supported: 1 mm²/s

Motor
The three-phase motor is engineered for efficiency and safety in submerged use:

• Premium Efficiency IE3 squirrel-cage motor, S1 rated for continuous duty
• Stainless steel shaft designed to resist fatigue and fracture
• Built in bi-metallic thermal protection with max stator temp: 130°C
• Seal monitoring via moisture sensor in the seal chamber (optional)
• Start-up configuration: DOL (1.1 4.0 kW), Star-Delta (5.5 11.0 kW)
• Lubricated-for-life bearings with 50,000+ hour lifetime
• Protection class: IP68 | Insulation class: F | Max 20 starts/hour

Installation
The FK ATEX is suitable for fixed installations using a guide coupling system. It is compliant with EN 12050-1 standards for wastewater lifting in buildings.
