Performance
The DAB FK is a professional grade submersible wastewater pump designed for commercial, industrial and civil applications. Built for reliable transfer of wastewater with varying solids content, the FK range handles drainage water, surface water, residential wastewater and fibrous industrial effluent. Available with high efficiency single channel or non clog vortex impellers, the FK complies with EN 12050-1 and is also available in ATEX certified versions for explosive atmospheres.

Construction
The FK series features a heavy duty cast iron pump body with flanged radial slot discharges in DN 65, DN 80, DN 100 and DN 150 (EN 1092-1). Hydraulic options include:
- Single channel impeller for high efficiency operation
- Vortex impeller for maximum free passage and reduced clogging
Each unit includes a cartridge style mechanical seal system with dual mechanical seals (SiC/SiC on the pump side, SiC or carbon on the motor side), isolated in an oil chamber for long service life. A bi-component protective coating improves resistance in aggressive water environments.
Motor
All FK pumps use IE3 Premium Efficiency three phase squirrel cage motors, designed for continuous S1 duty in submerged installations. Motors include thermal protection and moisture sensors in the seal chamber for early fault detection.

- Star Delta start for motors 5.5 kW to 11.0 kW
- Bearings lubricated for life with 50,000 hour design life
