Performance
The Calpeda GQS and GQSM series are compact submersible pumps equipped with a vortex (free-flow) impeller, ideal for handling dirty water and wastewater containing solids up to 40 mm. Designed for domestic and light industrial use, they offer reliable performance in drainage, flood control, and rainwater systems. A double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber provides robust protection against dry running.

Construction

• GQS: Threaded vertical outlet (G 1½″ or G 2″)
• GQSM: Single-phase version with float switch and thermal protection
• Cast iron casing and vortex impeller
• Chrome-nickel stainless steel motor jacket, casing cover, and shaft
• Polypropylene handle with stainless steel reinforcement
• Double mechanical shaft seal with oil chamber (GQS 40 uses single seal)
