GQS & GQV Submersible Pumps

Single-impeller submersible pumps, with free-flow (vortex) impeller.

GQS: Vertical threaded delivery port G 1 1/2″ or G 2″.
GQV: Horizontal threaded delivery port G 2” or G 2”1/2 and flanged DN 50 or DN 65.

Applications

• For domestic or industrial waste water, dirty water with solids up to 40, 50, 65 mm grain size.
• Draining rooms or emptying tanks.
• Extraction of water from ponds, streams or pits and for rainwater collection.

Operating Conditions

• Liquid temperature: Up to 35°C
• pH value: 6-11
• Max immersion depth: 5m
• Min immersion depth: 275mm (355mm for GQV 65)
• Continuous duty (with submerged motor)

Materials

• Pump casing: Cast iron GJL 200 EN 1561
• Impeller: Cast iron GJL 200 EN 1561, AISI 304 for GQS 40
• Motor jacket, casing cover, jacket cover: AISI 304
• Handle: Polypropylene with AISI 304 frame
• Shaft: AISI 304 or AISI 303 for GQS 40
• Mechanical seals: Ceramic/Carbon/NBR
• Seal lubrication oil: Oil for food/pharmaceutical machinery

• 2-pole induction motor, 50Hz (n ≈ 2900 rpm)
• Voltage: Three-phase 230V ±10% / 400V ±10%
• Single-phase models have float switch and thermal protector
• Insulation class: F
• Protection: IP X8 (continuous immersion)
