Salvatore Robuschi Vertical Cantilever Pumps

Salvatore Robuschi cantilever pumps are designed for handling sludges, slurries and liquids with large or fibrous solids. The vertical design keeps the pump body submerged while the motor remains completely outside the liquid, offering long service life and reliability for harsh sump, drainage and process environments.

Construction and Features

Pump body immersed in liquid with motor mounted above the plate for complete motor protection
Heavy-duty ball bearings with grease fittings located above the plate for easy maintenance
No bearings, seals or bushes in the liquid, ensuring extremely low maintenance

Installation Options

Typical installation: The pump mounts on the sump or tank top and operates without level controls. It runs efficiently when the liquid level is above the priming holes and will run dry safely if the level drops below the suction port, re-priming automatically when the liquid returns.

Installation with suction extension: Allows tank emptying up to 5 metres below the suction port. Pump will run dry when the liquid drops below the extension and will automatically prime again once submerged.

External installation: For high-temperature duties up to 300°C containing solids, the pump can be mounted externally beside a sump or tank. It operates normally when the tank level is above the casing, and runs dry safely when below the suction port.
